A big manufacturer from Japan, Sony, has announced of the company acquisition for the 50% shares in Sony Ericsson Company. It means no more Sony Ericsson, just Sony with all potency which the company can develop. As we know before, Sony Corp. has been acknowledged as the center of electronic entertainment. Since the company’s idea of developing Sony walkman and discman as replacement of conventional tape or cd player, this company becomes the market leader of enhanced product including in mobile cell phone development. The popular smartphone produced in the brand of Sony Ericsson such as Sony Ericsson Xperia Arc gets nice support from Sony Bravia Engine, the ultimate technology of television from this company.

In my opinion, this movement is a preparation for Sony to get involved more in the market competition and preparing the company to become serious contender for the other mobile smartphone manufacturers such as Apple with iPhone 4S or Samsung with Galaxy phone series. I believe android phone will get the bigger market share in this year, supported by new models launched by several big manufacturers. Let we see how the game begins.
